Prompt: write about a time when you had to camouflage something about yourself OR adapt to a new situation. What was that like?

    They hate Pisskop because he pees his bed and he is English.

    The medicine man is the man they call when someone needs help. He gave Pisskop the secret of the chicken ritual and told him to stop setting the bed.

    1. The judge and the jury hat pisskop because he is English and the English sent some of the African families to concentration camps and the judge and jury are Afrikaners.

    2. The medicine man, Inkosi-Inkosikazi is a really old magical man and is rude to the female characters. He gives pisskop an old kaffir chicken that he was going to eat for dinner, so pisskop could practice the magic trick the medicine man presented earlier that day.

    Chapter 2:

    3. The "power of one" is pisskop having to defend himself and him being the only one who could help himself and who liked him.

    4. He learned that it is better to blend in than to stand out and possibly get beaten up for being better or different.

    5. He feels he needs to escape because he is English so he feels that they are declaring war on him and is worried for his family so he wants to go see them.

    Why does the judge and the jury hate Pisskop? The judge and the jury hate pisskop because he is of English heritage and he goes to a boarding school that is people of all Dutch heritage and the English people in the past killed their grandfathers and sent their grandmothers to the first concentration camps where they died from diseases.


    Describe the medicine man. What did he don't pisskop? The medicine man is very old and wise and he made Pisskop stop wetting the bed.
