  1. Have you ever wanted to know what people said and thought about you when you weren’t around? If you could disguise yourself in some way and be around the people you know, how would you carry it out? Describe your ideal disguise and a scenario that you imagine would take place if you could be “a fly on the wall.”

Then write a paragraph summarizing the lessons of the underworld. Please use at least three quotations in your paragraph with proper citations — due next class, in Quarter 1 Folder. Intro to The Heroic Journey

Objectives: demonstrate knowledge of Whirligig through on-demand writing. Gain an understanding of the elements of Joseph Cambell's monomyth and the universal pattern of the hero's story.

1. Create Shared Google Folder

  • Go to apple store and download google drive and google docs
  • set up shared google folder (share with leavittm@rsu5.org)
  • Title of folder: last name, first name
    • Create a folder in the shared folder called “Quarter 1”. Create a new document in Quarter 1 folder called "Whirligig Prompt"
